The Shattered Glass: Option One
Well, in my opinion Stephen Glass looked guilty from the second I saw him on the screen. With all the points you have made in the assignment, just proves that he is 100% lying in all of his own stories. The bags under his eyes hinted the idea that he works very hard, maybe a little too hard. He seemed to be a bit more caught up in the idea of praise and credit for something good. He faked the stories to specifically please the crowd and the sources. The idea that Stephen Glass said that the editor should defend his writers no matter what, kind of throws editors under the bus. Because is something like this were to happen again, I think the editor has the right to stand aside and be upset with his writer. When Glass decided to go into law school, he seemed upset about it because he feels like he was forced to because of his parents. I feel like it would be tough on Glass as well with the fact that he won't get that much praise that he so much desires. Glass seemed to lie about everything all of his notes were scenes from his head and he never had real evidence to prove anything. He seemed to have always say "it's in my notes". Yet, are the notes real notes...
